I also installed mod loader, but that doesn't work either The save files themselves are named in the format GTASAsfX.b where X represents the in-game slot number. So, the game saved in slot 1 will be stored in the save file GTASAsf1.b. Also try reinstalling by deleting the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas folder (Steam/steamapps/common) and then uninstall and reinstall the game from Steam. Save Anywhere.
